Corporate Social Responsibility
Entrust is genuinely aware of the expanding impact of businesses on the society; Corporate Social Responsibility is one of the main strategic areas for ENTRUST, especially with the increasing realization of the incremental role that the private sector can play, in this domain. All three actors- private sector, civil society and government organizations- need to work collectively towards common development goals. Accordingly we work towards promoting the responsibility of this impact as well as maximizing our clients’ performance and profits at the same time. We do so through providing assistance on the development of CSR strategies up until their implementation. Entrust has been the strategic advisor of UNDP Egypt; we assisted in designing their CSR projects and activities and the establishment of a Global Compact Center, as well designing and implementation of a Growing Sustainable Business (GSB) initiative in Egypt. More recently Entrust was contracted by Aramex, a private sector multinational courier company, Twasul, an Egyptian NGO, and Ruwwad, a Jordanian non-profit organization, which have joined forces to build a community development initiative in Izzbet Kheiralla, one of the large informal settlements in Cairo. The objectives of the assignment were to formulate a comprehensive community profile for the households located in the neighborhood and to conduct an impact assessment study of earlier educational initiatives. ENTRUST provides various services in the area of CSR including: Advisory services, Project Management and evaluation, brokering partnership with international & local organizations as well as government agencies; and strategy design.
